Dry Dock is a place of transformation. Things in life have cycles of renewal and repair. Plants get pruned, we get physicals, and ships go into Dry Dock. The big goal of Dry Dock is getting Life Fellowship Chapel ready for the vision God will call us to. You can read about Dry Dock
here.Updates and new information about Dry Dock will be posted on this page. The big thing right now is to pray!Pray that God would reveal where He wants us to go as we "get our ship ready to sail."Blessings,Pastor Ty

(Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 2:47; 2 Peter 3:9)
Our StoryThe origin of Life Fellowship Chapel can be summed up in one word: vision. With a conviction that God was calling for a new local church in Michigan, a group of 11 men formed a planning committee. Their work led to the church’s first worship service on Sunday, October 29, 2006 in a barn. The frosty fall morning featured Pastor Larry Crabtree preaching in a wool overcoat and 244 attendees huddled under blankets. The turnout and interest warmed the hearts of the team, which had adopted the slogan, “The Vision Stands Firm,” to emphasize their commitment to promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the weeks to follow, the committee and the church experienced provisions that could only be attributed to the hand of God. For example, where would the new church meet? Pastor Jim Olah and the people of Calvary Baptist Church of Davison heard of LFC’s birth, and offered the use of their facilities. In the midst of building a physical church presence, LFC engaged in “building” of a different kind, working on a constitution, statement of faith, mission statement, and core values. Their commitment was to establish a church faithful to biblical doctrine, consistent with the original vision, and vibrant in appealing to the 21st century culture. A group of men spent 13 weeks studying the concept of biblical eldership, and Elders and Deacons were eventually chosen to replace the planning committee. The leadership of Calvary Baptist Church of Davison had been on a spiritual journey of their own, seeking God’s will on how to build on their almost-40-year history of ministry and outreach. The sharing of facilities with LFC led to new friendships and the discovery of virtually identical doctrine and vision. After much research, discussion, and prayer, the memberships of the two churches voted to merge, effective in September 2007. LFC continues based on the original vision of presenting the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and building disciples, while seeking opportunities for new campuses in the future…

WelcomeWelcome to Life Fellowship Chapel! The Good News of Jesus Christ dying on the cross and rising again on the third day is why we are here. We serve and worship a living savior! Because of what Jesus did for us we desire to love God, serve people, be biblically centered and prayer focused. Our team hopes you find Life Fellowship a place of encouragement and a place you can respond to the Gospel. At Life we are much more concerned with meeting needs than with what you wear. Dress casually and you’ll fit right in. The offering is an act of worship for those who are part of the Life family. There’s already enough you have to think about when you’re guest for the first time. Relax, get some coffee and enjoy worshiping with us.Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if there is a way we can serve your family.Blessings,TyLead PastorJohn 10:10
A mask is a prison. We use it to hide, to allude, to lie. A mask is a false Gospel. In the Gospel God did what we could not. He sent His Son to die and rise again in our place. We are free! Choosing grace means choosing to live by faith.Paul writes Galatians to combat a false Gospel that we need to DO certain things in order to EARN God’s favor. The truth is if we’re IN Christ then we are to live by FAITH. God already loves us, we don’t need a mask. Let the masks fall and shatter. The mask is alluring. It’s pretty. It’s clean. It’s the illusion of control and perfection. But, ultimately it’s a lie. A mask results in rules and maintaining appearances. The mask focuses on other’s views and yourself. Living by grace is messy. It isn’t clean. Living by grace is hard. Living by grace pleases God as the focus is being like Jesus. In living by grace, we are free.

We Believe:In the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible. It is totally free of any errors in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the supreme standard for faith and conduct. In one living, eternal and true God, existing in three distinct persons as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are equal in attributes, power and glory, yet having distinct offices, functions and personalities. In the absolute deity and perfect humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ; that He had two natures, divine and human, united in one person without mixture and that it was impossible for Him to sin.In His virgin birth by the Holy Spirit and in His substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood for the forgiveness of sins, in His literal bodily resurrection and ascension, His present High Priestly ministry in Heaven and His personal and imminent return for His redeemed ones.In His future return to earth with His saints to establish His literal millennial kingdom. In the absolute deity of the Holy Spirit and that, like Jesus Christ, He is eternal. He is the One who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. To the believer He is the agent of regeneration, sanctification, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption and exercising the ministry of comfort and teaching. That mankind was created in the image and likeness of God; that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God. Mankind is totally depraved, unable of himself to redeem his lost condition.Salvation of the sinner is wholly of grace through personal faith in the Person and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ and all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are secure in Christ forever. Once saved, a person cannot lose his salvation.God is sovereign in the bestowment of all gifts to the church and the gifts of evangelist and pastor-teacher are sufficient for the perfecting of the saints today. Speaking in tongues, faith healing, and working of other sign gifts of the Spirit gradually ceased as the New Testament Scriptures were completed and their authority established. God does hear and answer prayers of faith in accordance with His will on behalf of the sick. The church of Jesus Christ was begun at Pentecost and is the body and bride of Christ, a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this present age. We believe in the local church as defined in the Word of God, specifically the New Testament. In the premillennial, pretribulational rapture of the church of Jesus Christ.
